Spring Season Suspended

It is with a heavy heart that we inform our community of the suspension of the spring season.

Following the guidance of the University, State Officials, USRowing and the CDC the Spring Racing Season and on campus practice has been suspended until further notice.   The team is taking this news in stride and all have access to rowing machines to make sure they maintain fitness in these unsure times.

We are all hopeful that this will end sooner rather than later and will keep all of you informed as more information comes to light.

Stay safe everyone, and remember to keep the scarlet in the van'.

Rutgers on the Water!

After a mild winter all teams are back on the water!  On February 10th the Men's Crew assembled at the boathouse in the early morning hours with gloves and wrenches ready.  With the help of a local crane company the dock pieces were lifted from the boat yard where they were stored and out onto the frigid waters of the Raritan.  Members of the crew jumped on and floated the pieces into position and other members got to work securing them to the the bulkhead and arranging them into the familiar form of the Rutgers docks.  This is the earliest that the Crew has been able to get out on the Raritan in recent memory and promises to have the crews ready to race for the quickly approaching spring season.
