Getting to the Boathouse by Bike or Foot

"Class of 1914 Boathouse" can be found on all GPS services

From Cook Campus-Neilson Dining Hall

(0.6 miles. 3 minute bike, 6 minute jog)

Go North past the entrance to Neilson

Continue on the walking path toward Ryders Ln.

Go left on Ryders Ln.

Continue straight through traffic circle

After passing Gibbons Hall on right stay straight onto Rt. 18 overpass

Cross Rt 18 at the light and go left

Class of 1914 Boathouse will be on your right

 

From College Avenue Student Center

(1.8 miles. 9 minute bike, 18min jog)

Head towards Barnes and Noble

Make a left on Somerset Street

Make a right onto George Street, pass under train bridge

Turn left onto Albany Street

Cross Rt 27 and go left (Wait for signal and watch for traffic)

Immediately after passing under Rt. 18, make a right onto the path along the river

The boathouse will be on your left in 0.8mi

 

From Busch Campus Center

(3.6 miles. 18 minute bike)

Go South on Bartholomew Rd.

Go left (take 3rd exit) at traffic circle

After Sutphen Rd. make a right onto bike path that travels alongside Rt. 18

After crossing over the river, exit bike path onto George Street in the same direction

Go Left on Hamilton St. and pass under train bridge

Cross Rt 27 and go left (Wait for signal and watch for traffic)

Immediately after passing under Rt. 18, make a right onto the path along the river

The boathouse will be on your left in 0.8mi

 

From Livingston Dining Commons

(3.2 miles. 16 minute bike)

Go East on Avenue E

Turn right on Rd. 3

Stay right on Rd. 1

Turn right on Cedar Ln.

Turn left on River Rd.

Turn right on Albany Street

After crossing over the river, use the first crosswalk to get across Albany Street

Then go South on the path along the river. The boathouse will be on your left in 0.8mi
