Rutgers Opened the Season in Philadelphia at the 39th Murphy Cup Regatta Hosted by Temple University.  The day started with the Varsity easily advancing to the grand final in the afternoon.  The Second Varsity and Novice 8 did not have heats but preformed well in their finals.  Both finished 3rd in their respective events.  The Varsity had a great race where they rowed hard and well together to come in 3rd in the Grand Final to finish out the day.  All around a great start for the Red Team!  Next race is against Columbia at Overpeck Park on Saturday April 9th in the afternoon.
