Rutgers Wins Petite Final at Kerr Cup

Rutgers Varsity and JV boats travelled to Philadelphia to Race in the Kerr Cup Regatta. As racing got started in the morning with heats both Rutgers Boats raced hard and qualified for the Petite Finals in the afternoon. Into a driving headwind the JV was able to cross the line second to Bucknell. In the Varsity race, Bucknell jumped out to a quick lead but Rutgers was able to stay connected to them through the middle of the race and in the last few strokes Rutgers was able to get their bow back out in front to win the Petite Final.

Full results can be found here:

This weekend will be a Re-row of the finals from the Kerr Cup with Bucknell and University of Delaware coming to the Raritan Saturday afternoon.

Hope to see you on the banks.
